These terms apply when you use this website to book a repair, request a device valuation, enquire about a refurbished device, or contact AO TECH ("we", "us", "our"). By submitting a form on this site, you agree to these terms. Please also see our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.

What this website does

This website is how you start a conversation with AO TECH — it doesn't process payments or complete a sale on its own. Booking a repair, requesting a device quote, or clicking "Buy Now" or "Reserve" on a device sends AO TECH your request; nothing is charged to you through the website, and no sale is final until it's confirmed with the shop, whether that's in person, by phone, or by message.

Repair bookings

• Submitting a repair booking is a request for an appointment, not a guaranteed slot — we'll confirm availability with you.
• Where we show a ballpark price, it's based on the most common cause of that issue and isn't final. The exact price is always confirmed once we've inspected your device.
• Where we can't give a ballpark price online, we'll get back to you with a quote before any work begins.
• No repair business can guarantee your data will survive every repair. Please back up anything important beforehand — we'll tell you if a specific repair carries a data risk once we've seen the device.
• Repairs and devices we sell are covered by our 12-month warranty, covering faults related to the repair or device supplied. It doesn't cover physical damage, water damage, misuse, or work carried out by anyone else afterwards.

Selling a device to us

• A valuation given through the website is an estimate — the final offer is confirmed once we've inspected the device in person.
• Submitting a valuation request doesn't commit you to selling anything.
• UK law requires us to see valid photo ID before we can buy a device from you. This is checked in the shop, not through the website.
• Payment for a device we buy is made by cash or card, once the sale is agreed in person.

Buying a refurbished device

• Devices shown as available are based on current stock, which can change between browsing and getting in touch — we'll let you know straight away if something's no longer available.
• "Buy Now" and "Reserve In Store" both send us an enquiry; the sale itself, and any deposit or reservation terms, are arranged directly with the shop.
• Refurbished devices we sell are covered by our 12-month warranty on the same terms as above.

Pricing

All prices shown are in pounds sterling. We take reasonable care to keep prices accurate, but if a listed price is clearly wrong, we'll contact you before proceeding rather than honour the error.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for anything that can't be limited by law, including death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud. Beyond that, we're not liable for indirect losses, or for data loss on a device we haven't yet inspected. Advice, estimates and stock information on this website are given in good faith but are always subject to confirmation once we can see the device in person.
